What is the Project Jaguar Academy?

The Project Jaguar Academy (PJ Academy) is the website where all the content for teachers courses are stored. It is designed for collaborative learning and is easy to use for teachers and their students. Each course has a “Course Classroom” on the PJ Academy.

P.S, If you haven’t created your course on Project Jaguar, you can get that done here and it’s usually verified in under 5 minutes. It’s really quick.

How do I access my “Course Classroom”?

• Once you navigate to your course page, click the blue “Edit” as shown below.

• Click the green “Visit Classroom” button on the next page that displays on your screen, as shown below.

• You may be greeted with another login screen that will prompt you to login with your Project Jaguar credentials. If you forgot your password, you can reset it here.

• After you have logged in, you will see your Course Classroom! Your screen will look something like what is shown below:

Who has access to the information in my Course Classroom?

Security is always a huge concern in education and almost every other industry. Because of that concern, each Course Classroom is only accessible to enrolled students, the teacher, and co-teachers. No one else has access to content in the course classroom.

How do I edit my Course Classroom?

To see what you can place in your course classroom, first click “Turn editing on” in your course classroom as shown below.

Second, click “Add an Activity or a resource” as shown below.

Select the item you want to add to your course and you can further add more information to it. Below is an example of what will show.

What can I put in my Course Classroom?

With a platform that has so much customization, it can get overwhelming on what you should put in your Course Classroom. So here’s a few things to get you started:

You can add videos, Word documents, pictures, Youtube links, Books, Quizzes, Assignments, and even Discussion/Chat rooms.
