Thanks for sharing that. CBInsights likely has the best quality of data but even that is based off of press releases which are, inaccurate at best, completely out of the ballpark at worst, to say nothing ofthe number of deals that just say how much the company raised but never give a valuation. With regards to dilution, using questionable data where only 10% has been checked and saying you “just went with it” is a bit frightening because it may lead to incorrect assumptions by the reader about valuations, amount raised and dilution.
