My Dad Was a Successful Republican Businessman Who Worked Himself to Death…and Guess What, He…

Laura, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your father. He sounds like he is an old time-Republican who ethics and moral upbringing. Although my father was a Democrat he was a Christian man who. Like your father he always treated others with respect and did not let an different opinion upset a friendship, and looked at all sides of anything.

You bring up a good point on ‘commodity crop production’. For the government to tell a farmer what they must plant was the beginning of the so many other invasive problems in America run by the greedy few. Think back to The Dust Bowl years, when the government first manipulated farmers and ranchers. Have we not learned about the damage it causes to not rotate crops?

Government’s focus on controlling crop prices is criminal to me. As an RN healthcare has seen the effects of poisonous chemicals today’s farmers must use to get what ‘they’ want from a farmer. I hope this election will bring back common sense to our nation.
