Ugh, I’m even more annoyed seeing citations. Like the IQ and gender. He has a citation saying the left used to champion IQ as his citation. However, *ironically* (to use his own words), many studies show very little difference in men and woman on IQ tests.

At best, on any metric, its extremely arguable with many studies in favor of their being no difference that isn’t accountable based on society.
Congratulations. Gawker made his memo less annoying. You actually think his citations are helpful. No, they’re more intellectually dishonest. Just adding a number next to something *doesn’t* mean its cited. It just means he has a footnote. Yeah, some of those things are citations, but a lot are just him making more assumptions. There are so many un-cited ‘facts’ that this memo is cringeworthy. His logical arguments are poorly formed. He clearly has no understanding of correlation & causation. From a purely logical standpoint, if you subtract out the actual content, this is very poorly written. It honestly makes me wonder how he stayed at Google as long as he did.
Considering formal logic is really just a type of mathematics, I would have thought he’d do better since he was a man… no?
