Sisneros is confused on many levels. First, Biblical qualifications for leadership are intended for spiritual leaders. Applying those principals to a government leader is inaccurate.

He also seems to be confused on Constitutional matters. A vote for Trump is a vote for those aspects of our Republican style of government, meaning that Trump says he will strengthen the rights of the states and lessen the power of the Federal government.

But the main problem with this article is the assumption that voting for Hilary is the compassionate thing to do. That is, at best, unproven, and, in my opinion, backward thinking.

Last, a major theme in the bible is that we should not judge others. This guy is dealing with a major decision, one most of us will never have to make. Assuming we know the situation better than him, and judging him, displays the opposite of the compassion that you are writing about.
