Hey there Thomas R. Barton, JD, your response troubles me because this piece states that I absolutely don’t believe introversion amounts to cowardice.

And I think that self-examination must inevitably descend to self-condemnation when we’re repulsed by our actions and wish to never repeat them, the same way that self-examination must ascend to self-love in those moments when we’ve taken what we feel to be the right and noble action.

On those points, I dissent your dissent.

That being said, I respect and appreciate your response.

I also believe that if we had the chance to talk in person, we would find that our views on this topic align, which is pretty cool because it seems we experience life from opposite ends of the introvert:extrovert spectrum.
