PLAAK are the early movers and shakers this February, so for all that have slept through this winter, we have news that is hard not to get excited about. This update stars our development team, which closes in on getting the most out of the PLAAK Wallet, getting TAP payments ready for retailers, with some intriguing details further below. They’ve multitasked to cover an enviable scope of work that includes the PLAAK Freelance App, which is starting to steadily move towards seeing the light of day.
The PLAAK Hardware Wallet & PLAAK Pay
The last update saw our team release a video demonstrating a successful Ethereum transaction done via a Bluetooth connection to the Core App. After concluding that our hardware and software products are stable and in sync, our development team proceeded straight to building a new App on the Core as the basis, welcoming PLAAK Pay to our software Ecosystem.
PLAAK Pay is our one-stop App solution for vendors, with all the features a shop owner, or a shopper would need. It will include:
- A billing system for products
- Invoice processing
- Creating and exporting reports
- Tracking user KYC
To save the best for last, by using PLAAK Pay shops can accept crypto payments using NFC Tap & Pay from the PLAAK Wallets. Our development team is now programming the Secure Element chipset so nothing gets lost in translation. The new demo video is a preview of the PLAAK Pay application, showing a working model of the NFC Tap & Pay feature.
The PLAAK Core & Exchange
Our development team is working on the Apple Core and Exchange Apps for Apple devices, modifying and updating the UX/UI designs and aims to release the iOS versions early March. The application is native, written in Xcode and Swift, both for Core and the Exchange. The PLAAK development team plan to release a test-flight version in closed beta, to carry out inside trials before the final releases.
The PLAAK designers had a lot going on during a number of partnerships the past month, including Verge, Colossus XT, BitcoinZero, and POZESS. Our team worked on their landing page designs and creating hardware wallet card designs to offer as part of the partner kit. Multiple landing pages were deployed, using both HTML/CSS on some, while the development of others was on the WordPress framework.
The PLAAK Freelance App
Phase I of the Freelance App is nearly complete. The PLAAK development team has already conducted an internal team demo to present the variety of features of the platform. Development finalized access of the Freelance App to the PLAAK SSO (The PLAAK Core) platform through an API. The team followed through both freelancer models, with applying to available jobs and also selling services concluded and functional. The Android application is underway as a work in progress (WIP).
The balancing acts our development team pulled off, makes wrapping up all works in progress seem like a matter of time. We can’t wait to see them through because our devs already have new world premieres in the making and, you’ll find the teasers here first. If this update was worth looking into, to make sure no one is missing out, you can help us make the mark by giving the clap button all you’ve got, and sharing this article with your peers and associates!
