Meet the guy doing PhD with us: Ankith Saleem
The name is Saleem, Ankith Saleem. I am currently doing PhD in the behavioural analysis of middle aged women*.

My friends call me Saleem, so no nicknames because Saleem is badass enough. I love playing and watching football. I am a Manchester United supporter, a true red devil. I am addicted to awesome TV shows and I binge watch them like my livelihood depends on it.
I am a Business Development Associate at Planet Spark and my work is to study, manage and assist women in realising their true potential. My job is the management of the amalgam of supply and demand, and supply being teachers, demand being students. This involves strategy, operations, sales, marketing and relationship building.
My work in Planet Spark is the most exciting venture I have ever entered in my life and the best part about it is continuous development, never ending learning and mentors to look up to. Planet Spark is a game changer in the educational landscape, and I genuinely believe myself to be a part of something big. My personal achievement in Planet Spark till now is the way I have learnt about dealing with a variety of individuals in the least amount of time possible. I believe that my personal achievement is yet to come as Planet Spark has bigger things in store for me.
I handle 17 learning planets out of which 7 are active, 3 are new and rest are waiting for me to do some “magical juju” to get them students. I am working on each and every one of them constantly on a daily basis. I have a mixture of awesome, sensitive and difficult teacher-partners and I have kept them engaged throughout. There are always cases where you need to go the extra mile and I do that for my teachers, in order to build a sustainable relationship.
The best thing about Planet Spark is not only the fact that it is a game changer in the education landscape, but also amazing people to work with. Our team is one of the best teams I have ever worked with, because it is full of varying personalities who have their own thing or two, working towards the same goal with the right amount of work, fun and dedication.
I just want to say ONE thing to everyone.
1) Lesson for our teachers: A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.
2) Lesson for our team: If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.
3) Lesson for the public: Everything is moderation, including moderation.
4) Lesson for our teacher’s husbands: Never tell a woman that her place is in the kitchen. That’s where the knives are.
5) Lesson to Pagli: Remember to always be yourself. Unless you suck.
6) MOO.
