・You can browse your synced data on your iPhone (Planner for iPhone).

Things under development with the cloud service are;

・Restoring data from the cloud storage.
・Synchronizing data between multiple iPads.
・Version control system for the handwritten data.
・Making the app universal that runs on both iPhone and iPad.

FAQs

Q. Why is the cloud service not free?

The fee is mainly for the server/cloud storage, where you store your data, that both plans offer.

Q. Do I have to pay for the cloud service to use the app?

No, you don’t. You can use the app for free when you don’t use the cloud system.

Q. How do I browse Planner on my iPhone?
1. Create or sign in to your Planner account. (iPad)
2. Subscribe to the cloud storage service. (iPad)
3. Turn the switch on and sync & transfer content. (iPad) *initial attempt may take some time.
4. Install Planner for “iPhone”, not for “iPad”. (iPhone)
5. Sign in to the same account as step 1. (iPhone)

Q. Can I use Dropbox or iCloud?

No, you can’t. Dropbox is a file-based database that cannot store some of the complicated information that Planner contains. As we are aiming to make a cloud system that works with Android and web browsers, iCloud wasn’t our choice since it’s a dedicated service for Apple.

Q. Why do I have to install the app for iPhone in addition to the one for iPad?

Currently the app is not universal. The app for iPhone is only for browsing, and is available to those who subscribe to the cloud service. Since there is a big functional gap between iPhone’s and iPad’s, we released the apps separately to avoid the possible violation of the current/future App Store Review Guidelines. We are now considering making the universal platform to integrate these apps into one.

Q. Can I enter a new data or add pictures on iPhone?

We’re sorry but you cannot do both of them at the moment.

Q. Can I use the same storage for mutiple iPads?

Yes, you can. Multiple iPads can access the same storage and browse any calendars you want, even though the data won’t be synced between iPads.

Q. Why is the fee high?

We’re very sorry, but the fee includes the commission that you have to pay to Apple.
We are now considering an alternative payment method, which you can pay in the app, and that would reduce about 30% of the current price. Also, we’d like to lower the price according to the number of the cloud user.

Q. How do I cancel the cloud service?

Go to the subscription management page on iTunes and cancel your subscription.
