Meet the Platio Team: General Counsel — Sergey Lenintsev
Sergey is Platio’s general counsel. A highly motivated and experienced lawyer in the technology, telecom and fintech fields, Sergey is currently focused on helping innovators like Platio launch blockchain products in an uncertain regulatory landscape.
As well as making sure that Platio complies with all relevant laws and regulations, Sergey is a lover of literature whose favourite books include The Golden Calf, the Picture of Dorian Gray and La Peau de Chagrin. A gifted linguist, he speaks multiple languages including Russian, Chinese and Buryat.
Sergey specialises in cross border transactions, e-commerce, user content, trademarks, IT & telecommunication law and data protection. Recently he has been developing crowdfunding and fintech legal structures for clients in the EU, US, and Asia, implementing AML/KYC procedures, and preparing token sale terms and conditions.
Not only is Sergey able to understand complex technology, commercial and legal matters, he is also a fan of bungee jumping and white water rafting!
