Intars is Platio’s Head of Partnerships, responsible for communicating Platio’s benefits to new partners and attracting the best companies to work together with us on building our next generation banking and trading platform.

With 15 years of experience in financial services, Intars has a reputation as a knowledgeable, trustworthy and reliable adviser to his clients. His specialties range from private banking, wealth management and investments to taxation and tax planning, supported by a thorough knowledge of both local and global financial service markets.
Intars shares our excitement for blockchain technology. “Cryptocurrency brings a totally new perspective to how we perceive and interact with assets, currencies, and even goods and services,” he says, “there is no limit to its potential.”
Like many of us in the Platio team, Intars is multilingual, speaking English, Latvian and Russian fluently, and decent Italian and German.
He loves to travel and has run marathons all around the world. An adventurer, Intars spent three weeks crossing Spain on foot, describing it as “the best experience I ever had.” His favourite books include Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda and The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg.
