async/await: It’s Good and Bad
Ben Lesh

I recently tried using async/await in my project to perform repetitive tasks in parallel such as searching multiple string values and replacing them with the corresponding new values for all matching files in the directories and renaming those files at the same time. I found it cumbersome the fact that everything eventually becomes a big function, and as you stated, the transpiled code is more massive. I ended up switching back to using rxjs.
