0:03 — Corey’s annual Vision Keynote is coming up on January 24th at 10am Pacific (6pm UTC). This is a can’t miss event where Corey reviews all the amazing things that have happened in 2024 and what we are planning for 2025!
SPL Partnerships coming
0:04 — AMA with READY coming January 9th at 3pm Pacific. READY is our first SPL partner. Earn their token by playing Honeyland! Our SPL partnerships will add $60,000+ of additional rewards to playing Honeyland in the next 30 days!

Solana Crossroads
0:06 — Corey has been asked to speak in Istanbul, Turkey at the Solana Crossroads event coming April 25–26. He is 80% sure he will be able to make that event. It’s right between his wife’s and daughter’s birthdays.
Unstaking update
0:07 — We expect to have unstaking of assets on the old staking contract live by the end of next week. The amount of WAX needed for creating Eggs and Breeding should also go down when this update is live.
Raffles in WAX are coming
0:08 — We are going to test offering some raffles in WAX. We plan to offer 3–4 juicy items in WAX raffles soon.
Off-chain assets
0:10 — Off chain assets is on hold for now, it’s a complex process that requires additional development time.
NFL Pick’em Results
0:11 — This was a season-long event exclusively for Genesis Holders. We awarded weekly prizes. The overall winners are:

0:22 — Anti reviews how PvP can help new players get XP and HXD. He earned about 6 HXD per PvP on 5 PvP matches per day = 30 HXD daily. If you don’t want to PvP, you get a free Shield each consecutive day you log in. That will protect you from being raided.

0:29 — Corey reminds players to play Bumble Bash daily in play-for-fun mode to collect XP and shards including Shield shards.
0:29 — Moongati recommends reviewing the Player Guides (here) to really understand how the game works. Play attention to the mood, like, and landform matches and how they impact how much HXD you bring back from Harvests.
Mood matching is the number one thing to pay attention to. Match your Bee’s mood to your Queen’s mood. If you can’t do that, match the moods of Bees on missions together.
First thing he did was buy a Gen 1, Level 20, Queen from the in-game Marketplace.
He found that with a Gen1 Queen, his Training Bees (free Bees) could bring back 0.35 HXD per Harvest!

Ancient Bee Event Recap
0:45 — Congratulations to WolfOne and 7A who are sharing the MINT KINGS title at 410 mints each. They will split the Mint King prize and both will receive a Mint King in-game badge to flex.

Earn SPL assets by playing Honeyland
1:06 — Certified Beekeepers and those playing with Working (Genesis and Generations Bees) will qualify.
We want this to be fair for everyone and benefit everyone equally. These will generally be 1–3 day events following the AMA with the partner.
Each Certified Beekeeper will have a chance to make one claim per partner. After the event, there will be a Diamond Hand reward for players that are still holding on the snapshot date (snapshot will happen within 15–45 days after the event — details will be announced). The Diamond Hand reward for the READY event will be 150 Queen upgrade shards!

Unstaking, WAX, and repurposing Bees
1:20 — When unstaking resumes, you will NOT need to pay WAX to unstake assets.

Flipside update
1:30 — Actively working on getting them updated. We were waiting until the end of the fusion event to get everything synchronized and updated. We hope to have it worked out in the next two weeks.
Selling Crafted items
1:31 — We set it up so that you have to earn, rather than buy, your way into some of the game benefits. The PvP rework (no date yet) will make this choice make sense. You will be competing with players that also had to earn their way to holding the strongest Bees.
Reminder — Crafted Gear stays with the player that made it. If you unstake a Bee with Gear, the Gear returns to your inventory.
Shard distribution
1:33 — We did a rebalancing of the economy and changed how shards were distributed in Explore and Siege.
Sharkyfi
1:35 — Corey will reach out to them to see if we can expand how our collections show up there.
Game play time
1:38 — Corey talks about how frequently he logs in.
PvP revamp update
1:41 — It’s in the design phase. Corey feels it’s the top priority. Now we have to factor in everything else that is going on. Listen to the Vision Speech as a PvP update will likely be included.
HXD distribution
1:41 — HXD that wasn’t distributed in the early days of Cocarro is in future player rewards and will be distributed. Corey reviews multiple ways that the rewards pool is increased and some ideas for distribution of those rewards.
HXD Staking
1:45 — Corey explains how staking works and talks about some staking ideas.
Enforced Royalties
1:47 — On the new Metaplex contract, royalties are enforced at the contract level. The way the prices are showing up in the Marketplace are confusing players so we have asked the devs to make improvements.
Coin Market Cap verification
1:48 — Corey is committed to doing what he can to get this done. We are not alone in having this problem. We have done everything they have asked four times and we still haven’t been certified. Corey is tapping into multiple contacts to try to get help.
