We have completely reworked the new player onboarding experience with version 2.0
- New Gen Z Bee mechanics
- New Players start with 6 Free Gen Z Bees and quickly grow their hive to 30 Free Gen Z Bees as they complete the 7-day tutorial
- Free-to-Play Players can Breed, Hatch, Upgrade, Shop, and everything else other players can do. Learn more about the new Gen Z Bee mechanics here
- Gen Z Bees are not able to be bought or sold — for that players will need to transition into owing Generations/Genesis Bees
- Honeyland is Free-to-Play for as long as you like
We are now live in 100 countries! You can use the App Stores to download the game. If you are in one of the countries where we are not yet live in the App Stores, you can still play Honeyland. Visit our website to download the game.

If you want to test the new player journey, we are making an exception to our one account per player rule and allowing you to open a testing account to try out the new player experience. Use an empty wallet to access the game which will trigger the tutorial to begin. If you connect to the game with a wallet that holds Honeyland assets, it will skip the tutorial.
Submit your testing feedback using this form (please only include testing feedback on that form, if you have ideas/suggestions for Honeyland or Game Mall games, this is the form to use).
REMINDER: We have a referral program. If you have friends in the countries where we are live in the App Stores, be sure to give them your referral link when you share Honeyland. 8:22 — Word Buzzle is now live! You can access it via the Game Mall inside of Honeyland. It will eventually be a stand-alone game as well.
10:45 — Paid user acquisition is starting! Expect to see lots of new players each day.
11:35 — Fusion is on sale! Fusion will drop from 4 Bees to 2 Bees during the Holiday weekend (Thursday Nov 23 — Monday Nov 27, UTC 00:00). Sacrifice 2 Bees, pay 50 HXD, and get a Gen 1 Egg. Starting Tuesday, Fusion will be 3 Bees plus 50 HXD for the rest of the year!!
13:15 — Swag shop will launch on Black Friday and everything will be 15% off! No code needed. Shipping is from the US. Some items are limited in quantity so don’t wait! Honeyland Pass holders receive 25%-40% off in the swag store. Open a support ticket in Discord to get your discount code (Note: you can’t stack discounts in the Swag Store).
14:40—In-Game Marketplace. Magic Eden is updating their website to accommodate the changes. They have asked us to hold off on launching our side of the Marketplace until they are ready. That’s likely to be early December.
