April 8, 2024: Honeyland announced — CEXs, Word Buzzle overhaul, .hxd vanity domains, Stripe onramp, HXD staking, a Genesis mint, and a multi-million HXD airdrop! As well as partnerships with Stepn, NASA, VGX Foundation, Drip Haus, Asset Dash and more.

Word Buzzle overhaul

Certified Beekeepers
23:59 — Coming soon, we will be working with Civic to prevent multi-accounting and ensure that there is a single human behind a single account. This will empower Honeyland to offer additional rewards and keep bots out of the ecosystem. (Twitter/X Post)
Stripe onramp
27:02 — Coming later this month you will be able to buy HXD using your credit card in HiveMind. This will be available for 34 countries. (Twitter/X Post)
HXD Staking
31:08 — Starting later this month (and perhaps as early as next Monday, April 15th), you will be able to stake your $HXD for rewards. On-chain staking will be done via HiveMind. Rewards will be in $HXD. The reward pool is based on the in-game revenues earned by Honeyland. You can track that (and much more) using our Flipside Dashboard. (Twitter/X Post)
NOTE: In-game staking will go live next month. In-game staking rewards will be raffle tickets and other items that will benefit your game play.
Partnership with NASA
40:37 — Starting at 00:00 UTC on April 9th, you will be able to purchase NASA gear for your Bees. These stat boosts do NOT take up an upgrade slot. It’s a great way to help max out the stats of your Bees. (Twitter/X Post)

Saga traits for Saga holders
46:07 — Coming soon, if you have a Saga device and have claimed your Saga badge in Honeyland, you will also be receiving Saga traits that you can fuse onto your Bees. (Twitter/X Post)
To claim your Saga badge, tap Bonus in the lower left area of the game and then tap Saga Benefits.
Partnership with VGX Foundation
46:48 — When the Cosmetic Shop opens later this month, every player in Honeyland will receive this free VGX Mad Hatter style hat. It will offer an upgrade to the capacity stat of the Bee you fuse it to. (Twitter/X Post)
Airdrop for Genesis Holders
47:50 — Later this month, 2 million $VGX will be airdropped to players that hold Genesis Eggs, Bees, or Queens. NOTE: The Snapshot has NOT been taken so you can still purchase Genesis assets to be included in this airdrop. (Twitter/X Post)
Upcoming Genesis Mint
49:47 — On June 2, 2024 we will mint 1000 new Genesis Bee Eggs and 100 new Genesis Queen Eggs! The mint will be for an Egg which has a 9% chance of being a Queen. Current Genesis holders will receive a transferable white list token to qualify for this mint. (Twitter/X Post)
If you hold between 1–10 Genesis assets, you will receive 1 white list token, holders of 11–20 Genesis assets will receive 2 white lists tokens, 21–30 will receive 3, etc. Mint pricing will be revealed as we get closer to June.
NOTE: The Genesis holders snapshot was taken on April 7th.
The proceeds from this mint will help us fund our marketing push.
