Honeyland Update — December 23, 2023 — In-game Marketplace is Live!

Honeyland: Apple iOS Store || Google Play Store
0:01 — Our In-game player-to-player (P2P) Marketplace is live so you can now buy and sell Honeyland Collectibles (Bees, Queens, Lands, Eggs) in the game using HXD.
Click ‘Shop’ and select ‘Marketplace’ to start shopping today. You can also list any of your Bees, Queens, Lands, or Eggs when viewing those items. Get a preview of it all here and scroll X to see all the excitement.
A few things to note:
- If you find any bugs or have feature requests, please submit them here
- Buyers will pay a 2.5% fee to Magic Eden. There are no Honeyland fees right now
- Check this out for a chance to win a Saga phone just by listing one of your Honeyland Collectibles for sale and tweeting about it
0:05 — We hit 20k followers on X today!
0:06 — Tiered halving (aka the ‘Zone multiplier’) went live today. This will reduce the HXD your Bees bring back on each mission. This is a necessary mechanic as we onboard more and more players into Honeyland. Get more details on the exact changes here.
$HXD Scarcity + Utility = Demand / Value
0:11 — We have new In App Purchase (IAP) Packs for HXD. Each one comes with an amount of HXD and a mystery crate. These can be purchased in the Shop using Apple or Google Pay.
0:13 — Look for Santa Claus flying around the Honeyland universe and click him to see if he has any gifts for you.
0:13 — You can now assign some of your in-game HXD balance to your Word Buzzle account. This won’t be useful today but will be as soon as we release PvP and Multi-player tournaments in Word Buzzle as real-stakes gaming modes.
0:15 — We’ve updated the achievement badge system so there are levels to many of the badges. The more you achieve in Honeyland, the cooler your badges will get.
0:17 — Our Discord was hacked yesterday and a scam link was posted that was an attempt to get you to sign a malicious transaction. It was caught and removed within 20 minutes but some people were affected during that time.
A few important things to note:
- Everyone who was affected will be made whole. Open a support ticket in Discord if you were affected.
- We will ALWAYS give you a Proof of Corey video anytime we ask you to click a link or connect your wallet. If you do not see a Proof of Corey video, do not click any links.
- As the market heats up, scams will become much more prevalent on Discord, X, and anywhere else scammers can find you. Stay diligent. Don’t FOMO.
The support from our community to rally around me (Corey) and everyone who was affected was unreal. Thank you all for making an incredibly challenging day a lot more bearable.
