First and most important of all, Steve Irwin (22 February 1962–4 September 2006). I guarantee you that if you know more than you think you do about Australia or ever had the idea of visiting it, there are 90% chances that you’ve learned about it from this awesome guy! Not only was he a renowned advocate for the wildlife, but a pretty damn good presentator of the lovely Australia. He introduced the unquestionable Aussie accent and idea in all of our houses through his TV series „The Crocodile Hunter”.
Although the visionary nature-lover made an amazing job at showing us what a truly wonderful world we have, he also helped us nurture a desire of vizting the lovely Australia which we can now fulfill or pass on.
So, if you do get the chance to ever travel on the Aussie Island, make sure you pay him a tribute at his Australia Zoo, which is now run by his widowed wife, Terri Irwin.
The second reason why you must pack up your bag (and don’t forget your camera) is the Uluru Night Sky. Due to the unpoluted area in the Northern Territory, you can actually see the World turn!
Third reason? The Wildlife!80–90% of it is unique to Australia and it only! You all know about the Koalas and the Kangaroos, right? How about the Wombat or the Platypus? Well, the only way you could ever actually see them in their habitat is if you come to Australia.
The final reason you should visit this wonderful island is indisputable! BEER! Yes, you’ve read that right. Australia tends to get very hot and humid and not all bars or restaurants are equpped with AC so if the temperature gets too overwhelming, you should better grab on to a beer and chill for a while, Aussie style!
