I Lost 86 Pounds and Learned a Few Things
Chris Higgins

Thanks for the “boost”. After being laid off this year from a high-pressure, high-stress, sitting at a desk for 8–14 hours a day job for the last 4.5 years — my priority has been to take back my health.

I’ve been heading to the gym consistently for the past 4 weeks. I also decided that I too needed a personal trainer for some accountability. I’m at that stage where muscle growth is countering weight-loss but my clothes fit better already (positive reinforcement!). Eating habits have changed too. Mainly less alcohol, more veg, more protein and don’t drive myself crazy w/ huge amounts of cardio.
