What is Pear Deck?
Pear Deck is an add-on that goes onto Google Slides that allows teachers to be able to make students interact with presentations. It does this by having different ways they can interact. They can do anywhere from multiple choice, number answers, text answers, draggable responses, and students can even draw as responses.
Asynchronous and Synchronous Options
In Pear Deck, you have a choice to make the presentation student-paced or instructor-paced. Student-paced allows the students to go however fast they want. Also, since it is student-paced you can see where all of the students are at in the presentation. You can tell if someone is doing their work or not. Instructor-paced is where all of the students are on the same slides at the same time.
