#1 How did the Renaissance impact the use of scientific principles and technological advancement?

“In the Renaissance era, people, like David, are courage to do something by themselves. They use their skills to do a great thing. Furthermore, they prefigure carefully before doing something. So, I think that kind of people, like David, can be the part of scientific and technological advancement.”

#2 What impact did the use of science and technology during the Industrial Revolution have on society?

“We had an easier transportation because, during the Industrial Revolution, people applied the scientific knowledge to produce railroads ,clipper ships and automobiles too. Furthermore, there were many factories which were the place that people (labor) went to work. Workplaces also changed from home to factory.”

#3 What is Toeffler’s Third Wave theory and where do you think Thailand is in his suggested theory of change?

“For Toeffler’s Third Wave theory, I think that it is about people who care about senses and memories rather than their strengths. Work is not done in a factory anymore. In this wave, “time” matters dearly. I think that the Third Wave is about something that is mental but is not physical.

I think that Thailand is in the Second Wave because, I can see that Thailand is an industrial country. There are people who work at factories that are everywhere in the country. Moreover, Thailand is famous for car engineering. I can see that a lot of car factories are in Thailand. Furthermore, the transportation is very easy. That is why I think that Thailand is in the Second Wave theory.”
