One issue with this recent system-font hype though is that font rendering on Windows (and especially Chrome) still seems to be sub-par to OSX, iOS, Android & Linux. And Segoe UI isn’t making things better, as it’s *very* peculiar when it comes to font-sizes (only seems to render properly scaled on odd pixel sizes; 13px, 15x, 17px, etc, same for line-heights) and it looks generally really bad in bolds. Segoe UI can be made to look ok by tweaking these and opting for a font-weight of 600 (which then again isn’t supported by Roboto, awesome), but as most websites seem to have been designed and developed on OSX this generally does not get any attention at all, with a very poor typography experience on Windows as a result.
