Can I Get A Do Over Please?

Mistakes happen. They will always happen. It’s something we have to live with while we are here in this sinful world, stuck in these fleshly temporary bodies.

I have come to the conclusion there will not be a time when we get used to making mistakes and there will not be a time when we will not make mistakes. We will always make mistakes. And we will always struggle to get back up. You may get “better” at regaining your footing and you may get quicker; but we will never be “good” at recovering from mistakes. We will always want to stay down for some length of time.

There is something about knowing no one will ever get it right or perfect that becomes very encouraging. I think that the quicker we admit this idea of always struggling, the more humble we are about our faults, the more we will learn through out mistakes and know how to avoid them in the future.
