The 1.3 acre Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden in Long Beach CA is one of the most beautiful and tranquil places to visit when visiting Long Beach. It is situated within the grounds of California State University, Long Beach and it is a perfect place for anyone who wants to get away from all the hustle and bustle. The garden is located on Earl Warren Drive and it is open Wednesday through Sunday from noon until 4:00 pm, with the exception of Mondays.

Dedicated in April 1981, this Japanese garden was built by Loraine Miller Collins to honor her late husband Earl Burns Miller. The garden was designed by landscape architect Edward Lovell and is influenced by similar Japanese gardens in Japan.
