Proof That The New York Times Isn’t Feeling the Bern
The Broken Ravioli

Excellent analysis. And as a self-educating voter I appreciate being guided through this audit trail to see the Times’ editorial morphing. On the other hand, as a writer who is constantly editing himself after I let something “sit” for a few days before publishing, I must confess a certain empathy for the authors of the Times article. They probably don’t have the leisure that I do to let a piece sit, then adjust after reading it cold a couple of days later to finalize. Instead they may feel forced to employ a “ready, fire, aim” publication strategy simply to get something out there quickly. Their hyper-fast news cycle/recycling as they try to compete with always-churning media talking heads is apparently taking its toll. Sad.
