Romeo Bragato Redux

Last year I had the privilege to travel to New Zealand to speak with Rob McMillan at the Romeo Bragato conference. New Zealand truly is a magical place. Not only is it incredibly beautiful and picturesque, it has amazing wine, incredible food, interesting history, innovative technology and more. But what is most incredible about New Zealand are the people. All of the people and the two primary cultures seem to have melded together into something more. I can not adequately describe it needless to say the people truly make the place.
The Romeo Bragato was also an interesting conference. Named after the famous Italian trained oenologist who was hired to assess the viticulture viability for regions and varieties for New Zealand. While this New Zealand wine industry may be small compared to other world regions, this conference was about thinking big. Rob and I didn’t want to disappoint and tried to bring our A game. I think we did ok and without a question, all of New Zealand is aware of our #bromance. As the Romeo Bragato starts again and lined up another great series up speakers they have given us permission to share our speeches. You’ll find both of them below our pictures.

Hopefully other conferences will not only think big like the Romeo Bragato, but act as big as they do by sharing with the world the lessons they are bringing to New Zealand. As I mentioned, it is the people that make it magical and they have demonstrated that in spades.
PS — if you want to download our presentations from the speeches you can find them here:
