This sounds like one side of a market colluding to keep rates high — which is all pretty normal. To me the problem is that there isn’t a way for people to walk away from the over priced market and start over.
Is it realistic to just create a new blockchain running the EOSIO software — just plain starting over — and ending up with a more reasonably prices RAM market? I think the threat of being replaced by a cheaper and identically featured EOS2 would be enough to force the supply side of the market to lower prices.
