Thanks Will.

I would add, “Do they carry on learning after they leave us?” – at the end of the day, end of the year and after they graduate. Have we generated learning momentum?

There is a gap between what we (educators and parents) say we value and what we measure and celebrate – and as the saying goes, “What gets measured gets done.” So, either we are lying to ourselves and we don’t really value critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, etc OR we are not strong enough to change education. I’m not sure which is worse, the self-deception or the apathy?

PS: making up words to express our thinking is how language is formed! Thanks for contributing to the evolution of the language. My favourite at the moment is “sustainagility
