Globalization means the spread of products, technologies, information, and jobs across borders. It also refers to the growing connection between countries in many ways (political, economic, social, and cultural). This is a topic that attracts a lot of research attention from politicians, economists, scholars, and the media.

However, is more global integration and interdependence a good thing?

Personally, I support pro-globalization. Because it brings equality to social communication. The right to life and human rights are given top priority.

Lowering barriers to international trade and investment, the dual driving force behind a more prosperous global economy, stimulating economic growth, creating jobs, and raising people’s incomes reside.

Strengthening international trade and cross-border investment activities, resulting in lower prices of goods and services.

Not only that, but globalization allows less developed countries to connect with more advanced economies in order to develop their economies and improve the quality of life for their citizens.

Consumer products such as Citigroup credit cards, Coca-Cola drinks, Sony PlayStation game consoles, McDonald’s sandwiches… are being considered as typical examples of globalization.

[ President Bill Clinton accelerated globalization in the 1990s by amending the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and claiming the United States to the World Trade Organization (WTO). He urged Americans to “change our friends” and “embrace the unshakable logic of globalization” ]

After all, it takes well to see the harm. When globalization is viewed in-depth and from many different angles, it brings many benefits to one country and even the whole world.
