Thanks. I try to be thoughtful and accurate all the time, but of course, I don’t always succeed. What I have found is that objections to my point of view are almost always kneejerk, predictable, and automatic. That is, the ‘other’ side always knows the appropriate talking points, and rejects what I’ve said without truly considering the position stated. Naturally, I can be wrong, and one can argue against my perspective. Most, however, do not do so. They are fabricating the counter attack as soon as they discern which side of an issue I am apparently on.
