This movie is a cartoon, is a video game, is a comic book. To cast aspersions to its sexism, or its hyperbole, or its campiness, is like pointing fingers at Beyonce for the overhype and overproduction of Lemonade. It’s like reviewing the Life of Pablo and bemoaning the self-aggrandizement that permeates the marketing, and the production of the album.
