Feeling tired

Hey sleepy,

You look tired. How come you aren’t wearing any makeup today? You look lovely without it, but it’s sign you aren’t feeling your best. I can see you are aching for more sleep.

Why do you look so sad?

Because you miss them all. All the people you no longer spend time with and get to love. You miss their company and their affection and they way they made you feel. It’s ok. I know you are facing a long weekend on your own, but you have lots of plans, and you’ll get to sleep and recharge.

I know you feel anxious and it’s a painful feeling.

I know you are remembering that normally you go to Cornwall over the bank holiday, but now you are alone.

You aren’t alone, not really.

You are going to feel uncomfortable, sad and lonely. But you will be ok. There are lots of people to call and chat to. You’ll be around nice people. Lean on them.

You’ll wonder that they are doing, what they are seeing, how much fun they are having without you. You will wish you were there.

You will be making your own memories and meeting new people. Proving to yourself you can be independent.

You can do it, but it’s ok to feel down. And afterwards, you’ll have even more proof that you are courageous.
