Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program 2024–25

Here are the following benefits if you will be the member of Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program 2024–25:

· Tuition fees is free for the participating students

· Monthly stipend of Doctoral level: in accordance with current Hungarian legislation, the monthly scholarship amount is HUF 140 000 (cca EUR 450) for the first phase of education (4 semesters) and HUF 180 000 (cca EUR 580) for the second phase (4 semesters) — for 12 months a year, until completion of studies. The monthly contribution to living expenses in Hungary is HUF 43,700 (cca EUR 130). Details can be found in section 1.2.1.

· Accommodation will be free. Free housing in a dorm or a monthly housing expense contribution of HUF 40,000 during the term of the scholarship. Please be aware that the HUF 40,000 per month is a payment to the rental costs if the student does not live in the dorm. In larger cities, particularly the capital city, this contribution may not cover the entire cost of the rent.

· Health insurance will be given to the participating students. Health care services according to the relevant Hungarian legislation (Act №80 of 1997, national health insurance card) and supplementary medical insurance for up to HUF 65 000 (cca EUR 205) a year/person
