everything tilts
rocked
back and forth
from what once was
to what now will be

there are mountains
pyramids
ahead of me
and i will climb
and i will build
mysteriously
clearly
either an ancient alien
wielding otherworldly technology
or an ant
lifting the world on my tiny shoulders
carrying a load up a hill
to build
my own
adobe shithouse
baked in the sunlight of truth
mortared together
with unknown glue
somehow withstanding
lifetimes of abuse
pulling tiny facts from the sands of lies
until all the memories harmonize

tragically

beautifully

everything tilts
rocked
back and forth
from what once was
to what now will be
