Biology
Weedle is a larval bug Pokémon with a multicolored body that ranges from yellow to reddish-brown. Each of its body segments is a spherical. It features a bulbous red snout, two little black eyes, and two spherical feet on each segment of its body. The use of red and yellow in its color scheme serves as a clear signal to predators that it is dangerous. Weedle possesses a poisonous stinger on its head that is two inches (five centimeters) long and a barbed one on its tail.
Weedle may use its powerful poison to strike against attackers and people who trample on it. Its keen sense of smell allows it to discriminate between different types of leaves. Its daily demand for leaves matches its weight as a juvenile Bug-type Pokémon. Weedle is found in temperate woodlands and often hides under grass, shrubs, and beneath the leaves it consumes.
