Thanks for your article and code Matt, they were really great references. The DOTA 2 tournament has had a LOT of upsets, and my predictions are way off the mark! :D I’ve been thinking of several ways to improve the algorithm though, mostly focusing more on players than teams as DOTA 2 team compositions are more fluid.
