Can’t agree more. It makes me so pissed off when I read a copy&paste response from a brand. What makes me even more pissed off is when the tone of voice is almost robotic. “We are truly sorry”, “Apologise”, “Let us make it up to you by providing a coupon” etc etc etc. Ironic enough, I have the warmest feelings towards the brands that managed to really make up to me by just being human after they massively fucked up.
