The 23rd TCI Global conference will be held in Kazan city. We want to make the city closer to you and tell you about things, Wikipedia does not know about.

Kazan is the third capital of Russia

Moscow is an official capital of Russia, the name of the second, “cultural” capital is assigned to Saint-Petersburg, while Kazan is the third, “innovative” and “sports” capital. This status is deserved by the city: it is here, where the latest technologies and developments are tested, innovative production facilities are constructed, major federal and international events are held. All these make Kazan the leader of rankings in quality of life, investment environment, education and culture.

Kazan is the venue for international events

Kazan is the attraction point for events of global importance. The city hosted the Universiade in 2013, FINA World championship for aquatic sports in 2015, FIFA World Cup matches in 2018, stages of Red Bull Air Race and WorldSkills. Kazan annually holds large international events devoted to various subjects: from culture to economy, or from history to new technologies.

Kazan is the center of education, innovations and business

Kazan Federal University, founded in 1804, is one of the oldest universities in Russia. Leo Tolstoy and Vladimir Lenin studied within its walls.

The internal policy of the city and of the region is aimed at establishment of comfortable environments for business development.
