#ShitHoleCountries: Bombs and Drones Will Destroy Your Homes but Words Can Never Hurt You…
Trump’s insulting words of Haitian and African countries should come to no surprise to anyone, after all; US Imperialism has operated from that premise for centuries. The US government, along with their European partners in war crimes, have used the viewpoint that black and brown countries were shitholes for centuries to justify their constant bombing, robbing and destruction.
The Nobel Peace Prize Obama, droned more black and brown countries than his predecessors (10 times more strikes in his first year than that of Bush), threw Libya into a failed state and created a massive slave trade, and not a word of pushback from liberal media or those who are now claiming offense of Trump’s words. Obama was so blatant about his lust for droning, that he and his administration created the Disposition Matrix, informally known as a kill list, a database of information for tracking, capturing, rendering, or killing suspected enemies of the US. This kill list was developed by the Obama administration beginning in 2010, however the “Disposition Matrix” went beyond an existing kill lists and intended to become a permanent fixture of U.S. policy. The process determining criteria for killing is not public and was heavily shaped by National Counterterrorism Director and former (CIA) Director John Brennan. A kill list that ultimately killed American citizens without due process or cause…implemented by the first black president!
Was Gaddafi on Obama, Hillary and the CIA’s, “kill list”? Barack and Hillary Clinton, along with their European counterparts, insisted the military intervention was needed in Libya for humanitarian reasons. But it has been proven with NATO’s own materials and Hillary’s pathetic words in “Hard Choices”, that the Libyan intervention was about regime change from the very start.
In the seven years since, Libya has been roiled by chaos and bloodshed. Multiple would-be governments are competing for control of the oil-rich country, and in some areas there is still no functioning central authority. Many thousands of people have died, although the true numbers are impossible to verify. Millions of Libyans have been displaced…a staggering number, nearly one-third of the population, had fled to neighboring Tunisia by 2014.
Corporate media, however, have largely forgotten about the key role NATO played in destroying Libya’s government, destabilizing the country and empowering human traffickers.
Thanks to Nicolas Sarkozy, David Cameron, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and their NATO intervention, which United Nations blindly supported, Libya is now a failed state and its economy destroyed. Their murder/assassination of Muammar Gaddafi, gave Libya a new low level of human dignity: Migrants and refugees from sub-Saharan Africa are turned into slaves and being sold for $400USD.
Prior to this disgrace, Gaddafi had turned Libya into Africa’s wealthiest nation. Libya had the highest GDP per capita and life expectancy on the continent. Less people lived below the poverty line than in the Netherlands. For over 40 years, Gaddafi promoted economic democracy and used the nationalised oil wealth to sustain progressive social welfare programs for all Libyans. He also helped refugees. Under Gaddafi’s rule, Libyans enjoyed not only free health-care and free education, but also free electricity and interest-free loans.
Gaddafi pursued an anti-colonial and pan-African foreign policy that the United States and European countries condemned as sponsorship of terrorism. Gaddafi’s greatest crime, in the eyes of the Zionist governments of France, UK, US and their NATO, was his desire to put the interests of local labor above foreign capital and his quest for a strong, self-reliant and truly United States of Africa. In fact, in August 2011, President Obama confiscated $30 billion from Libyan Central Bank, which Gaddafi had earmarked for the establishment of the African IMF and African Central Bank.
Hillary promoted Libya as one of her biggest successes as SOS, yet liberal media has yet to call her out on her disgraceful actions. Sadly, when we allow propaganda from corporate owned media to dictate truths and hide facts, the the results are responses like this from Hillary on Friday, calling President Donald Trump’s reported remarks racist as she bandwagoned her way into the uproar after Trump allegedly derided Haitians and referred to African nations as “shithole” countries in a discussion on immigration.
The above comments by Hillary Clinton are more egregious and insulting than anything Trump has ever said. Hillary Clinton, the Queen of “Super Predator”, was excused for her racist comment about poor black kids, that she gave during a speech to an all white group of rich women, when trying to help her husband push the crime bill. A crime bill that created the world’s largest prison system…No different than Obama’s disgraceful words calling poor black kids in Baltimore, “thugs”. It’s shameful that we pick and choose our outrage based on our political agendas or views…wrong is wrong no matter who says or does it, and as I’ve said before, “my beliefs don’t change based on political partisanship”…
Hillary as SOS openly laughed and mocked the assassination of Gaddafi, with her famous words: “We came, we saw, he died”…however, she should have said, “We came, We Saw, We Stole, He Died”….
How does a country sitting on the world's largest gold repository suddenly look like a ‘shithole’ country because of US intervention and imperialism? Why hasn’t the same people and media who are feigning outrage over Trump’s words, not angered over Obama & Hillary’s actions? Why hasn’t the question of Libya’s missing gold a major discussion and interest to IMF and NATO? I’m sure you’re smart enough to know the answer to all of these questions.
It’s really sad that during Obama’s 8 years in office, it was African Americans at home and black and brown people abroad who suffered more than ever. The regime change of Haitian government, allowing Hillary’s brother an unprecedented goal mining deal, denying pennies in wage increase for female workers in Haiti, in order to satisfy a debt to Hillary’s Walmart & Wrangler benefactors. Whether it was his allowing/being a part of the corruption and exploitation of Haiti by Hillary Clinton, who along with her husband, brother and elite friends; by robbing Haiti of billions of dollars that were raised for earthquake relief, the ignoring of systemic police murders at home, yet coddling and signing bills to protect police…Obama made it clear to his owners that he was the right choice in black face, to do the Imperialists bidding without any pushback from the people…because we know he looked cool while doing it!!!
Trump suffers from can’t hold shit disease, he’s only repeating what he’s heard his Neocon and Neolib friends like Bill & Hillary Clinton say for years…during their lavish parties or golf outings…don’t be distracted by his words, yet ignore the destructive and deadly actions of your favorite Neoliberals…America & Europe have built their wealth from bombing African countries into literal ‘shitholes’…
