PoCoCo’s October Review
Reflecting on the past and re-evaluating decisions is important for successful future achievements.

PoCoCo
We are delighted to have launched the Polkaswap Burn tracker, a tool developed by Team Ceres with the support of a PoCoCo grant.
Earlier in October we launched the Polkaswap quest competition. This collaboration with BaconDAO was aimed at bringing new educated users to Polkaswap. It’s safe to say it was a success!

Last but not least, we managed to get Polkaswap listed as a DEX on Coingecko, including the correct trade volume and trade pairs. A great win for PoCoCo!
Unfortunately, Coinmarketcap did not yet verify the data sources, hence the ranking of PSWAP is wrong.
SORA
Instead of simply waiving responsibility, the SORA ecosystem aims to actually protect users.
One way this is accomplished is through Social Insurance: SII will protect critical infrastructure for the SORA ecosystem, starting with the TBC and there will be a proposal to include Polkaswap. Read more about it in this article here.
The biggest news coming from the SORA stable last month is likely the upcoming release of the 𝗫𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗦𝗗 stablecoin. This will be the first token in a series of Sora Synthetics — or XST. These are synthetic assets pegged to an index of value and backed by XOR.
The deployment for XST is currently in the final stages of public testing and will be released this month.
This will be a game-changer for the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem and even beyond SORA.
Think Luna-UST for the interoperable future.
Furthermore, OnFinality is hosting a SORA node. This means improved stability and scalability for users of the SORA network! OnFinality provides infrastructure and developer tools that help blockchain and dApp developers. Other Polkadot projects like Moonbeam and Astar also rely on their services.
SORA recently changed its primary tagline from “One World. One Economy.” to “Many Worlds. One Economy.” You can read here about what that entails.
Fearless Wallet
Fearless Wallet is currently hosting the crowdloan campaigns for Picasso, Bit.Country Pioneer, Quartz, Integritee Network, Robonomics, Genshiro, Crust Shadow, Sakura and SherpaX.
We are happy to announce that the Moonbeam crowdloan campaign will also be hosted on Fearless wallet! Polkadot auctions start 11th of November
On the roadmap for November: multi-chain integration! You will be able to see and use your crowd loan reward tokens in the app very soon!
UMI Digital
Have you noticed? Umi.Digital’s artwork has been among the top sellers on Rarible for a while now!

CERES
Ceres launched its mobile Tools app, including PSWAP Burn tracker! Get it now on Google Play Store and the Apple Store
We are very happy with the collaboration on and result of the Burn Tracker. Thanks to Ceres there is more visibility on how the Polkaswap and SORA systems work.

Furthermore, Ceres V2 Litepaper is live with more details on Ceres staking and the new ILO platform. ILO platform will the first entry for new projects on SORA network. Projects can use it for launching their tokens.
Demeter litepaper is out now! $DEO will be the 2nd token in the Ceres ecosystem. You should definitely have a look if you like airdrops.
By the way, in case you do not use Polkaswap yet for some reason, $CERES is also trading on Bitmart since the start of October.
And finally…
The Kusama Parachain Auction winners of October are known.
Parallel Heiko won the 10th auction for slot 11, with a staggering crowd loan contribution of 202,276.8 KSM.
Parallel Finance is creating a decentralized platform to empower everyone access to financial services.
Kintsugi BTC had the honor to win the 11th auction for slot 12 on Kusama. The community supported their crowd loan campaign with 199,999.93 KSM. Kintsugi’s kBTC will radically open Bitcoin up to Kusama to kickstart liquidity for all parachains.
After a community proposal and on-chain voting, Kusama’s parachain auctions continued on the 25th of October and will continue with a weekly winner for the next 48 weeks.
Polkadot announced their parachain auctions will take off on the 11th of November with contributions available to be made as soon as the 4th.
