Desperately emotional

Just give me some time

to catch my breath

To sooth my heart

To take a long enough sleep

uninterrupted

by anguished thoughts of you

To have enough strength to get through a new day of my life

Where you are nothing but a thought

still a thought embracing all the meaning of life in itself

How desperate…

Let me calm down

my wild imagination

Let my ambulant soul

Get off her sparkling , golden rimmed cloud,

floating above my head and showering me

with tons of sweet , intoxicating drops of emotional rain

and come down to earth to rest.

Let me come back to my real world

as a real thing, not as a shadow of something else

left behind in another dimension

Just for a while

I don’t ask for more.
