What is WOCV?

Wrapped OCV coin (WOCV) is a modified version of OCV coin, equal to it in price and backed by it, that can be used on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The token was created to allow users to interact with BSC decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. An additional benefit is improved transaction speed: wrapped OCV transactions clear faster than OCV transactions because BSC is well known for its lightning-fast transactions. In a Binance smart chain, the blocks are made every 3 seconds.

What Is a Backed Currency?

A backed currency is a form of currency that comes with a guarantee that it can always be exchanged for a predetermined amount of another asset. For example, a currency backed by gold may have a guarantee that 100 units of the currency can be traded for an ounce of gold. WOCV token can be exchanged back for OCV coin on the main net.

How to convert OCV coin to WOCV token?

To get WOCV token visit a special bridge platform and follow instructions. Procedure is very easy.

1. Provide your BSC wallet address from your Metamask browser addon or from your Trust Wallet.
2. System will generate for you a unique OCV coin address. All OCV coins which you send to that address will be automatically converted to WOCV tokens and sent to your BSC wallet address.

3. Make sure you choose “Smart Chain” network and paste copied WOCV contract address inside the “Smart Contract Address” field. If you put in special field right contract address, the rest params system will load automatically (NAME, DECIMALS, TICKER)

You can click “DONE” button.

4. Ok from now you will see your WOCV tokens in TrustWallet app on the main page. You can send/receive WOCV and interact with many DAPPS.
