Walk around Shanghai: Jianguo Road, starting at Xujiahui park, on a rainy day.

Starting with Xujiahui park in your back, and walking east over Jiangguo road. The first part of that road used to contain lots of small shops, from noodle places, tailors, to hand-made shoes, as can be seen from the 2014 pictures below. However, it seems that they have recently re-located recently. So this will be a walk down memory lane… The area is still very nice, and worth walking around today.

The starting point: a fountain on the edge of Xujiahui park.
Standing on the intersection of HengShan, Guangyuan, and Jiangguo roads. Jianguo starts on the left corner.
The Hengshan Picardie hotel, at that same intersection but not visible on the previous picture.
