1. Challenge Pimple

There is one downloadable attachment with this challenge.
Let’s download and inspect what it is.

What is this thing ??

Hmm..!! That looks Strange!! Time to Inspect more!!

When we use the command file followed file the file name i.e. pimple in our KaliLinux machine. We get to know that it is a XCF image file.

Okay now we know that it is an image file. Can we get more information about it from exiftool ?

Let’s find out!!

There’s not much information about the image which might interest us. Except for the comment that it is created with GIMP.

We’ve already got the same information from previous [file] command.

Now let’s try to install GIMP and open the image file in it.

Ohh wait !! What’s That ?

If we take a closer look at the bottom right side, we get to see a bunch of images layered on top of each other.

Let’s check each image, one by one.

WoooooHoooooo !!!! Here it is.
We got the flag!!
