The Opposite of Evolution

It seems so easy to give in to mindless activity. But I’ve discovered in my 70’s that I truly regret the missed connections and the unsaid words that welled up in my mind to die there without being said or heard. Now I’ve trained myself to take the time to explore every task and idea until I can imagine exactly what to do and then be patient enough to see it through without feeling the tug of the clock.
