Last Friday marked the first anniversary of Novel laureate Liu Xiaobo’s untimely death. Memorial services were held worldwide, including HK, Taiwan, USA, to celebrate him. In Berlin, the service took place at Gethsemane Church, a historic site located in Prenzlauerberg in former East Berlin. It has been playing a tremendous role in taking many dissidents in shelter.
