Welcome! 👋👋

Wondering how you can publish your own scientific research papers?

A Hitchhikers Guide to Publishing Research Articles💡 is a series of articles especially for undergraduate students who wish to be young researchers.

Being an engineering undergrad, what we often know is how to code or develop a working prototype for your project but is it enough? When it comes to research, it is through publication that the research, including its scientific and practical contributions, is disseminated to others in a particular field. Though I was lucky to get guidance and encouragement from my mentors and seniors, there might be many of you who think it’s impossible to publish research papers while still in your undergrad.

I plan to write these blogs through the lens of my experience of publishing 4 research articles in my undergraduate career.

Here is a list of blogs — I’ll keep updating the links here as I post new ones

This article 👆 covers the typical five steps that you can follow to publish your first research paper.

This article 👆 covers the differences between research articles and review articles.

This article 👆 presents the lessons I learned while publishing research papers in the area of computer science and engineering in my undergraduate career.

Also here are a few useful articles about how to get involved in undergraduate research and how to write compelling emails to Professors.

Stay tuned for more :)
