When Are You At Your Best?
Shining Your Brightest Light
I was once the kind of person who always found themselves surrounded by others. Loneliness was a foreign concept; I always found myself in the company of individuals who lifted my spirits and provided solace whenever I felt low.
During tough times, I have always tried to rely on others to unravel the questions that would loop in my mind. I recall how, whenever something happened, I’d immediately dial my best friend’s number and vent about it. I would discuss everything with others to make sense of what was happening.
Gradually, I sensed a shift within myself. I found it difficult to be swayed by the perception of others, as their interpretations were colored by their understanding. I realized that their insights failed to resonate with me because my perception of reality had evolved. I have always sought meaning through a higher purpose, and in my quest to understand life and its deeper meaning, I was distanced from everyone who mattered to me.
But I believe it served a purpose; the universe isolated me for a reason. It was during this time that I began practicing meditation, and now I find myself in a space where I no longer depend on others. I thrive in solitude, although I am grateful for the presence of those around me. I’ve come to understand that if someone is meant to stay in my life, they will inevitably find their way back to me.
Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.— Carl Jung
Just like a cocoon has to stay in isolation for a few days until it emerges as a butterfly, the universe also keeps you away from all the distractions and noises so that you can listen to the voice of your soul. You can figure out why you are here, and you can become stronger. You can learn to tap into your intuition because the answers you find elsewhere are only found within.
I’m only grateful for the journey that brought me here. Through ups and downs, I’ve grown stronger and closer to my true self. Now, I stand with a deeper understanding of life’s purpose and a newfound appreciation for the solitude that allows me to listen to my inner voice. With gratitude in my heart, I step forward, enriched by the journey, and eager to embrace what lies ahead.✨💖
