POP Missions Begins Empowering Decentralized Philanthropy; Creates DePhi Platform Using Wenburn Protocol
Bringing Philanthropy To The Masses
Who We Are:
We are a collection of philanthropists and professionals in technology and finance, whom observed an issue of increasing concern developing online.
What we found were individuals and organizations, using charity and philanthropy as a means of social and economic gain. This stimulated our interest in demanding decentralization.
What We Do:
Our mission is to support those in need through charitable acts. That is accomplished using Distributed Ledger Technology, which eliminates a necessity for personal information, vetting, and acknowledgements.
It’s not about any one person. It should and always has been about making a difference by building a community of support. Through this technology that provides transparency, we hope to cultivate a community that supports and uplifts one another.
Some Thoughts:
In a philanthropic exchange, two party’s benefit, but in different ways. The patron, receives gratification through their desire to promote the welfare of others. Which is commonly expressed through donation of funds for good cause. And the beneficiary, has their fortunes and quality of life raised.
Sadly, with the continued growth of social media, major complications have arisen.
Whether it is GoFundMe, Twitter, or Facebook; campaigns created with earnest intentions have faltered. Fundraisers often become overwhelmed, stalled, or exploited. Issues such as budgeting, lacking resources to handle requests, and organizational issues cause tensions to amount, frustrations to reach an end-point, and (what was initially meant to help others) to become disarrayed.
The problem is that many people are poor, not that certain people are rich.
Though fundraising efforts have been successful in some instances, they have often spiraled into a sea of personal data breaches, accusations, lawsuits and further conflict.
When it comes to present-day charity, there is a need for transparency and authenticity. Not only to ensure that aid is given to a worthy cause, but to ensure that those in need actually receive it.
This is where we turn to the world of Blockchain, DAOs, and Cryptocurrency to use our new technology to help those in need!
POP Mission’s DePhi Architecture allows for anonymous, automated, dispersement of funds while rewarding those who donate at the same time. With DePhi, we allow the “rich get richer” philosophy, but insure that those in need are equally and immediately compensated and assisted. Evenly distributing the wealth through an unbiased ecosystem.
This exciting migration into the WEN Protocol using WENBURN (WENB) allows for a dynamic balance of supply vs demand no matter the level of growth.
What DePhi Does:
Decentralized Philanthropy allows anybody to participate in a good cause. The POP DAO is going to be the owner of a large treasury of POP which token holders can decide how to utilize. For a start, we have dreamed up several strategies to drive WENB volume while raising funds for good causes the POP holders deem worthy!
Everything about POP is decentralized and community ran, we will give full ownership to the DAO and all parts of the protocol, so that the PEOPLE can decide what to do with their POWER.
How we distribute POP:
The only way to get POP initially will be by spending WENB in a transaction. You receive 1% of your WENB back as POP when you transmit WENB. We are also in the process of creating special NFT machines that only accept WENB and these will pay you back an extra 1% in POP!
These NFT‘s’ will range from custom one of a kind creations to simple creations distributed to the masses. These NFT’s can and will increase in value and rarity over time if they are not ever minted again, creating a growing wealth for the community.
Essentially free money which is “Paying You Back, For Paying It Forward!”
The money collected in this NFT Tech:
- Funds POP Missions which are individual Philanthropy Projects voted on by the community.
- NFTs themselves will be voted on by the community.
- The community can propose new sources of revenue and rates.
