Introducing Paul Mezier, Acute Immersive co-founder and COO
After a few months of us collaborating on the stealth side, I'm stoked to announce Paul Mezier as my co-founder and COO of Acute Immersive.
Paul comes from the world of film and cinema, and after having spent significant amounts of time on sets, he turned to VR a decade ago, wearing many hats while shipping over 50 immersive films, games and interactive experiences across virtual, augmented and mixed reality platforms, raising over 5 million dollars from Meta, Google, Apple and other VR companies.
Although we’re both French and living in San Francisco, we only met last October. Animated by a shared excitement for the future of immersive video, we spent afternoons locked in front of a whiteboard, scheming in franglais about the contours of the Acute Immersive Platform, and Go To Market strategy.
Our complementarity quickly became obvious. Paul's experience, business chops and industry recognition has already been a game-changing asset for Acute Immersive, growing our customer, partner and user base while freeing my time to focus on product and engineering.
Acute’s path to success depends on achieving the highest quality, in both our software and the content that it delivers. I couldn’t imagine a better partner than Paul for fulfilling this promise. I look up to his ability to raise the bar for our company and make the best of our limited resources with credibility and professionalism: it’s no coincidence our website and our app improved dramatically in the past couple months.
Beyond that, in these uncertain times it's been a joy to be in company of Paul's optimism, thoughtfulness, and values. Together we'll build a great company culture. We're in the early days of our collaboration and yet it feels like we've already known each other for a long time.
