Chrome is based on Chromium and the Blink rendering engine. Not WebKit (although Blink was originally forked from WebKit). Samsung Internet is also based on Chromium and Blink. So Samsung Internet and Chrome are closer in terms of their foundations, than Chrome and Safari.
